WTA TAIWAN OPEN臺灣公開賽，2016年起在高雄首舉辦，此後固定於每年第六周於臺灣舉辦，賽事為期9天，
成為臺灣年度重要且具代表性的網球國際性體育賽事。
2016年於高雄首舉辦之臺灣公開賽，賽事等級屬於WTA認可之國際巡迴賽事，總獎金50萬美元(包含住宿招
待)，預期將有超過四十位世界級的頂尖女子職業球員共襄盛舉 |
